When we first saw Siegecraft on
the schedule, we were all extremely curious, and well... a little bit
		worried. |

		| But then, once Rose, our Fine
Arts coordinator, explained to us what the activity actually consists
of, everyone was relieved and eager to sign up! |
		So on this lovely Friday
morning, first period, Danny and Koen led the Senior campers in
beginning their Campus Kids Siegecraft careers. |

		|   |
To start off, the campers were
		given these materials: |

		|   |
		With these materials, they were
told to make some creative catapults that would shoot harmless items
such as rolled-up balls of tape! |

		|   |
		The campers were creating some
awesome designs of catapults. The counselors were even building them
		too! |

		|   |
What struck me the most is that
I kept hearing a couple campers say "that's the beauty of Siegecraft" or
"that's the unique beauty of Siegecraft". It honestly is beauty. The
fact that this activity lets the campers explore their creativity by
inventing contraptions is awesome. The campers helped each other come up
with ideas and designs, and even had friendly competitions which
motivated them to try their best. |

		| In the end, with smiling faces,
they launched their catapults, and then cleaned up. |

		New activity: Seigecraft...
		 SUCCESS! |
